The Transmission of Our Human Awareness
“Beyond Words and Letters There is a Transmission. It does not belong to any Tradition. It is the Nature of Human Awareness.” Bodhidharma! Sixth Century AD.
The Power of Transmission is our innate human power for the manifestation of the Light and the Energy of our inner most Awareness Field. Our human awareness field is the Field of Being and Being-full-ness. We are able through this innate power of transmission to transmit the luminous field of awareness into another human being and collective human situations. This Transmission of our Awareness which is the Field of Being and Being-fullness can be a collective mutual human experience. Or to say this in another way “Two awarenesses are better than one.”
The power of Transmission is the power of our personal manifestation and the power of our personal Being full resonance. The transmission of the field of awareness brings forth the experience of Luminous Being-fullness within our own self and within the self of others. Our existential power of Transmission reflects the dynamic luminous energetic Being-full nature of human Beings. This power of transmission of our own field of awareness is often so little used! How come?
The Patriarchal Distortion: Only the Patriarchal Master Can Transmit!
When this power of Transmission of our personal awareness field of energy and light is believed and taught to be contained solely within a Singular Patriarchal Master, this relentlessly taught “Presentation” is simply not the truth and does not reflect the universality of our human capacity for the direct transmission of our human awareness field.
More importantly and archetypally the universality of this Primordial Power of self- manifestation is within us all. This luminous process of Being-full self-revelation, and Being-full self-manifestation is an essential characteristic of Being Human. This power does not belong to a singular person but rather this power of self -revelation and self- manifestation of Pure Luminous Being-fullness is within us as us. This power does not belong to anyone religious tradition, or any one culture, or any one person, or any one time.
Many eastern traditions believe and assert that this power is the power of a Person who has Absolute Knowledge and is understood to be the “Guru”. Thus, the luminous power of our transmission of our lived inner most experience of our primordial field of awareness is often foreclosed by many Patriarchal Traditions. The ancient and contemporary authoritative religious elaborations about the Guru being a singular omnipotent and omniscient Person who has Absolute Knowledge and the Absolute Gift of Transmission of the Innermost Awareness reflects the Patriarchal Power distortion. Many “spiritual” traditions both of the east and of the west present the Guru as the Patriarchal Person who knows Absolutely and who is omniscient and omnipotent. Out of this personal resource of omniscient and omnipotence, the Patriarchal Guru as a singular Person alone has the gift of transmitting the luminous Being-full energy and the light of primordial awareness field into another Human Being.
The Embodied Power of the Ontological Archetypal Guru
Many eastern spiritual traditions and western spiritual traditions embrace the Patriarchal Institutional understanding about the truth of the embodied power of the spiritual teacher or the spiritual priest or spiritual minister having absolute knowledge, absolute power and absolute understanding. This Patriarchal understanding is a profound Patriarchal Distortion. The Patriarchal distortion is a Power based distortion. This Patriarchal distortion is the distortion of Domination.
The Distortion of Grandiosity
This pervasive religious Patriarchal distortion is the distortion of Human Grandiosity and the relentless human aspirations of Grandiosity. This pervasive relentless human aspiration of Grandiosity is fantastically present in many and most forms of Institutionalize Religion. Not only is “God” or the “Gods” omnipotent and omniscient but so are the Institutionalized Representatives of God or the Gods. Clerical Omnipotence! Clerical Grandiosity! Clerical Domination!
Hegel and The Absolute Knower of The Master Slave Relationship
Of course, Hegel in his magnificent text ‘The Phenomenology of Spirit’ writes that whenever a Person claims Absolute Knowledge, those who follow this Person of Absolute Knowledge will fall into the endless Master Slave Relationship. This illusionary drama of Absolute Knowledge creates the deeply dependent Master- Slave relationship. The world is dominated by the Master Slave relationships. Hegel’s understanding is seen in religious traditions, in the political realm and even in the realm of family. The many many forms of the union of Religion and Royal Patriarchy create an endless history of Theocratic delusion and Theocratic domination. This Royal Patriarchal illusion of omnipotence and omniscience dominates many professions such as Medicine.
The Guru
The Primordial Guru is not an Ontic Person. The Primordial Guru is the ontological archetypal power of ontological self-revelation as the self-manifestation of Being and the Pure Being-fullness of our Being. The archetypal power of The Primordial Guru is not a person. The primordial Guru is the archetypal power of Being and the Luminous Being-fullness of Being within every human Being, within every human person. This Guru is the innate power of Being and is the power to experience the self-illumination and self-liberation though our Being’s self- manifestation within us as us and beyond us.
The Guru is the Archetypal Power of our Self-Revelation of the Nature of Being-fullness in ‘us as us.’ The Guru is the archetypal and the ontological power of Alethea, the power of Being-full Self-Revelation. Archetypal Power is the Power of our Being and our Being-fullness and not simply an event of psychological mentalistic causal action. The experience of Being-fullness is not simply a psychological event or mental event. The experience of Being-fullness is an ontological event, an ontological self-manifestation of our human Being-fullness and Who-ness. Personal Who-ness is not simply a psychological phenomenon but Who-ness is an ontological event. Human beings are both ontic and ontological beings. This means human beings are both psychological and Being-full. Self-liberation is both a psychological and Being-full event. No one person owns the power of self-liberation.
The Power of The Truth as Manifestation
The Guru is the Being-full power of the truth of self-revelation and self-illumination and self- liberation. The Guru is not simply a psychological event of our mind. The Guru is the archetypal ontological self-manifestation of our own Being and the Being-fullness of our own Being for other beings. This natural transmission of Being-fullness does not belong to any one tradition or any one culture or any one person.
Masters of Transmission
This natural transmission of Luminous Being-fullness is understood both within Dzogchen and within Kashmir Shavism. In Kashmir Shavism a contemporary master of transmission was Swami Muktananda. In the contemporary Dzogchen, Lama Tharchin, Lama Wangdor Rinpoche, Kungsang Dechen Lingpa, Namkai Norbu Rinpoche, Dungse Rigdzen Dorge Rinpoche , Yang Thang Rinpoche, Pema Rinpoche and Lama Norhla Rinpoche, were contemporary masters of transmission of our primordial luminous awareness field, primordial Luminous Being-fullness.
Dr Yan Xin is a contemporary Daoist master of healing natural transmission. Meitek Wirkus is a polish healer who is a master of natural healing awareness. Ammachi is a Hindu Master of Transmission of Luminous Awareness through the Human Embrace. Dr. Deng was a most wonderful physician healer and master of transmission of the field of Being-fullness and the creative healing energy of Being-fullness for so many human beings.
Our human power of our self-transmission of Being-full Awareness is also understood within Contemporary Continental Phenomenology and within Contemporary Archetypal Psychology. Henry Corbin and James Hillman are major authors articulating the union of contemporary phenomenology and ancient archetypal psychology and ontology. Henry Corbin and James Hillman both understood and taught the natural power of our human transmission of primordial luminous awareness.
The Patriarchal Ontic Person Who Knows Absolutely
To think that the Guru is only a singular Patriarchal Person who knows Absolute knowledge reflects an ancient political religious distortion of archetypal ontology bringing forth the endless Master Slave domination in both western and eastern philosophical and religious culture. There is the unending collective religious transcendental illusion that the Personal Patriarchal Guru alone possesses the power of invocation and the power of the transmission of the human awareness field of Being-full Energy and luminosity.
This limitation more often than not, is simply the endless form and endless expression of Transcendental Religious teaching that betray the nature of the universal ontological Guru as our very own human innermost presence of Luminous Being fullness. The Guru is the very nature of Being and Being-fullness. The Guru is the revelatory nature of Being and Being-fullness. The Guru is the human power of self-manifestation. The innermost Guru is the power of the transmission of Being-fullness. The innermost Guru is the power of the Logos. The innermost Guru is the power of Being-filled emanation. The innermost Guru is the power of our innermost personal awareness.
The Guru is the self-manifestation of Being and Being-fullness. In the language of early Greek philosophy, the Guru is the Logos. The Guru is an ontological quality of our Being fullness revealed within ‘us as us.’ The Guru brings forth the Trans-lucidity of Phenomena and the Trans-lucidity of the Being-fullness of phenomena.
Human Grandiosity as The Endless Aspiration for Omniscience and Omnipotence
The Guru is not a psychological event of omnipotence and omniscience. Omnipotence and omniscience are a political psychological event of our human aspiration of Authoritarian Grandiosity. The declaration of Omnipotence and Omniscience is a declaration and expression of authoritarian Grandiosity and human Grandiose aspirations of domination. The expression of Grandiosity is an essential characteristic of Patriarchal Domination whether in religion or politics, corporate life and family life. In eastern philosophy the experience of self-liberation or self-realization is often described in grandiose language such as omnipotence and omniscience.
This Ma Rigpa (Ignorance) of our Being-fullness can distort a spiritual tradition and spiritual understanding. There is Collective Ma Rigpa (Ignorance). Ma Rigpa means Ignorance or better said “Profound Lack.” The Ignorance of What? The Lack of What? The ignorance of our directly ontologically knowing Being, and the Being-fullness of Being. Ma Rigpa is the ignorance of our directly knowing and directly experiencing the nature of Being! The nature of our own Being-full nature is in essence the Nature of Being itself.
Ma Rigpa is also the ignorance of the knowing and experiencing the sublime power of self-invocation of Being-fullness and Transmission of Luminous Being -fullness awareness into others. Ma Rigpa is ignorance of knowing and experiencing the luminous Being-fullness of phenomena, the luminous Being-fullness of our own Being and the luminous Being of other beings.
Transmission as A Manifestation of Absolute Compassion
Compassion is an action. Compassion is the Transmission of the field of Being and Being-fullness into Others. This is the teaching of the great Tibetan teacher Yang Thang Rinpoche. He was a most wonderful contemporary Tibetan Dzogchen Master who lived much of his life in a Chinese Prison. There is this Natural self-givenness of Being to human beings; and there is the natural givenness of human being’s compassionate transmission of Being to other human beings.
Ma Rigpa is the profound ignorance of the natural givenness of the power of the invocation of Being-fullness within human beings. Ma Rigpa is the misunderstanding that our knowing of Being is simply our psychological knowing of our own mind, rather than our own Being’s direct non conceptual experiential knowing of Being. Our experiential knowing of Being is the power of our ontological awareness which is an ontological experience and not simply psychological ontic event. This direct knowing and direct experiencing of Being-fullness is not the simplistic mentalistic experience of a psychological belief. As John Henry Newman writes in his Grammar of Ascent, belief is simply an intellectual ascent to an idea. Belief is a form of mental ideation.
The endless frames of Authoritarian Religious Patriarchal Institutionalization take omnipotent ownership for that which has already naturally been given to us as human beings. Religious Authoritarian Patriarchal Institutionalization pretend to own our natural empowerments that were given to us within our personal birth experience and the birth experience of all human beings. Religious empowerments are empowerments we naturally have at birth.
This wonderful natural knowledge is foreclosed by the unending grandiose religious authoritarian hierarchy of transcendental religious patriarchal tradition locked in the Dissociative Disembodied Transcendental Awareness.
The Immanence Tradition of Dzogchen
The Immanence tradition of early Dzogchen was neither transcendental nor patriarchal. This Endless Patriarchal distortion of the transcendental drama of omnipotence and omniscience is both within the east and within the western spiritual and religious traditions. This ever-present omnipotent distortion reflects the political institutionalization of “spirituality” both in the east and in the west.
The “Holy” Roman Catholic drama of supposed Papal infallibility (Omniscience) and (Omnipotence) is a most wonderful example of collective Ma Rigpa (Stupidity). There is in the supposed drama of Tibetan Lamanism where in the Omnipotence and Omniscience of the Lama is considered as factual is another wonderful example of Ma Rigpa (Ignorance). The Dali Lama says that this authoritarian and would be omniscience and omnipotence of Lamanism will destroy Tibetan Buddhism. This Grandiose theocratic experience is the union of Religion and Royalty.
You will also see this Imaginal Patriarchal omnipotence in the Biblical Tribal Desert Religions which are the source of the Judaic, Christian and Islamic traditions. The Dali Lama a number of years ago in Washington DC during the empowerment and presentation of the Kalachakra Tantra spoke to the Patriarchal Illusion of Lamanism. He said with great humor, I am the Dali Lama, I am not omniscient and neither am I omnipotent. I do not know everything and neither can I do everything. However, I do love being loved by everyone. The patriarchal authoritarianism of Lamanism can destroy Tibetan Buddhism.
Bodhidharma 6th Century ad Master of The Natural Power of Transmission
The power of the transmission of the light and energy of awareness, and the light and energy of Being is within everyone. This light of awareness is Equality Consciousness, and this light of awareness is Equal Vision. As Bodhidharma said “Beyond words and letters there is a Transmission, the power of this Transmission does not belong to any tradition, it is the very nature of human awareness.”
You do not need “special permission” or “special empowerment” to transmit the light and the energy of your own awareness, the light of your Being-fullness for and into another person. Love naturally does this. Compassion naturally does this. Desire does this! As Dudjom Rinpoche would say in his great invocation “Calling the Lama from Afar”, please take the power into your own hands. So, the power of transmission, is not the power of begging to a Transcendental Deity for help. The power of Transmission is the power to invoke and bring forth from within one’s own innermost Being-full self- awareness, the power to transmit the ongoing experience of the field of awareness into another human being.
To experience the power of our awareness is to experience the power of our Being-fullness. To experience the power of our primordial awareness is to experience the vast spaciousness of our awareness, the primordial energy of our awareness, the luminosity and the trans-lucidity of our awareness, and the Timelessness of our awareness as the field of Being-fullness.
Transmission is the power and self-manifestation of our primordial field of awareness into this world. Our mind transmits thoughts, transmits affects, transmits sensations, transmits memories, and transmits fantasy. Our mind also transmits reason. Our mind transmits our Psychological Experience.
Patriarchal Authoritarian Conditions for Transmission
The placing of Patriarchal Authoritarian Conditions on our natural transmission of awareness is profoundly limiting and concealing of our natural innate capacity of Being-full manifestation. Patriarchal Authoritarian Teachers and Patriarchal Traditions believe they have the power of imposing the conditions under which the power of transmission can be expressed. These Patriarchal Teachers and Traditions pretend As If they are the owner of the Power of Transmission. This is a Religious cultural delusion. This is a delusion of Grandiosity. This is the essence of Political Delusion. This is the Delusion of Dictatorship. This is the relentless Theocratic Delusion of omnipotence and domination.
The power of transmission arises out of our own innate awareness and the energy and light of our innate awareness. This awareness is multidimensional just as our Being is multidimensional. Our innate awareness reflects and embodies awareness as Source.
Ordinary Life World
Our awareness can reflect the dimension of our ordinary life world. In Dzogchen the ordinary life world is call Nirmanakaya. Our awareness can reflect the dimension of our Sambhogakaya dimension or what is also described as the archetypal dimension of our existence and our Being-fullness. This Is the dimension of the primordial creative energies and forms as archetypal energies often experienced as the apparitions of archetypal forms such as deities and dakinis. Our own awareness is multidimensional, vast and infinite in its horizon. Our own awareness is Primordial Knowingness. Our own direct primordial awareness is Gnosis, is Jnana and is Yeshe.
The Ground of Being as Being-full Source
And there is our unfolding experience of our primordial awareness as the Dharmakaya or as Longchenpa describes the Profound Ground of Being. The profound Ground of Being is Source. Longchenpa elaborates that our own Who-ness which is our own innermost awareness is the Ground of Being as Source. As the powerful Nyingma prayer says May I experience all phenomena as the Dharmakaya (Source). Phenomena and Source of Phenomena are the same!
We are our primordial manifestation of Being-fullness and the light of Being-fullness, the energy of Being-fullness, and the unbound openness of Being-fullness. This is Longchenpa’s wonderful understanding as expressed in his foundational Dzogchen text The Treasury of Genuine Meaning. This understanding is also expressed in the foundational 8th century Dzogchen text The Supreme Source.
Our power of manifestation of the light and energy of Being can reflect the power of manifestation of our awareness within the ordinary life world. Our power of manifestation can reflect our accessing the power and dimension of the archetypal dimension of existence and transmission of our awareness through the archetypal dimension of Being-fullness. We can also access and reflect the power of Source as our pure Being-fullness as the Ground of Being and manifests the power of the Ground of Being into our world.
Timeless Awareness
This experience as the Ground of Being is often experienced by us as Timeless Awareness within time. All these dimensions are accessible to us through the doorway of our own innermost awareness. Our innermost awareness is our direct knowing of Being and the Luminous Being-fullness of Being.
Energy and Meaning Are Directly Related
It is important to know that energy and meaningfulness are deeply related. Energy is a meaningful experience, and a meaningful experience reflects energy. This understanding of the intimate relationship between energy and meaning is important in our understanding of the nature of Being-full energy, and Being-full meaning of Being-full experience.
To experience Being-fullness is to experience meaning and to experience Being-lessness is to experience meaninglessness. To experience energy is to experience meaning and to experience meaning is to experience the energetic dimension of meaning. Paul Ricoeur describes this energetic meaningful relationship is his great text on Phenomenology and Psychoanalysis called “Freud and Philosophy.”
Timeless Awareness in Time
To experience the power of our awareness in its multidimensionality is to experience the Timelessness of our primordial Ground of Being-fullness. To experience Timelessness in time is to experience the primordial manifestation of our Being-full Timeless awareness manifesting in time. To experience time within Timeless awareness is to experience the NOW of the present time within our field of Timeless Awareness.
To understand the profound nature of Timeless Awareness it is necessary to know that our mind is not Timeless Awareness. This distinction between our two ways of knowing is essential. Longchenpa describes how it is really great to know that our mind is not our awareness and our awareness is not our mind. This discovery is the beginning of Self Liberation. This discovery is the beginning discovery of the Inner Space of the Heart. This distinction is essential in Dzogchen and this distinction is essential in contemporary Existential Phenomenology.
The Knowing of Mind and The Knowing of Primordial Awareness
We have two ways of knowing. Our mind knows forms, things, both subtle and gross. Our mind knows faces, hands, buildings, trees, math formulas, our mind knows subject and mind knows otherness. The mind knows dualities, the mind knows me and you, us and them, this and that. Mind knows time, mind knows the past, the present and the sense of the future. The mind knows things and entities, the mind knows beings, infinite number of beings and things. The mind knows difference. The mind knows conceptually, feels affectively, imagines through imagery, the mind has sense and the mind has memory. The mind knows dualistically.
Awareness knows Being directly and awareness knows the Being-ness of Beings directly. Being is not a being. Being manifests beings. Being manifests Being within beings, as their own Being. Being itself is not an entity. Being is not a being. Being is non duality. Being knows and is the non-duality of everything and anything. Being is oneness and pervasiveness. Being is sublime openness. Being self-manifests as Radiant Light and Being is Compassionate manifestation. Being is creative resonance. Being is Pure Creativity, Pure Potentiality, and Being is Pure Manifestation Manifesting. Being is Pure Consciousness. Being is Pure Energy, Pure Creative Energy. Being is Pure Light. Being is Pure Energetic Luminous Manifestation.
Being also manifests duality, even though Being is completely non dual. By Becoming aware of awareness, we experience primordial awareness which is the Ground of Being of beings. Awareness is Being. Awareness is Being knowing itself. Being knows Being and the Being-ness of all beings. Primordial Awareness is Timeless Awareness as The Ground of Being manifesting beings in time as time.
Our mind knows time and our awareness knows Timelessness in time and beyond time. Being knows Timeless in time and Being is Timelessness manifesting time. Being becomes everything and anything. Being is no thingness even though Being manifests beings and beings as thingness.
Being whose character is unbound openness, whose character self-manifests as radiance, whose character is light creating everything and anything as light. Being is no thingness and manifests everything and anything. Being is Spacious Luminosity. Being is Creative Energy infinite in its horizons, vast and multidimensional.
There are Two Kinds of Manifestation: Manifestation of Mind and Manifestation of Awareness
Our mind manifests the power of thought, the power of affect, the power of sensation, and the power of memory. Our awareness manifests the power of Being and the Power of Being-fullness. Our awareness manifests the power of Light, and the power of Trans-lucidity. Our awareness manifests the power of Spaciousness and the Pure Potentiality of Spaciousness. Our Awareness manifests the Power of Creative energy, Creative life force, Creative resonance.
Our awareness manifests the power of profound resonance. Our awareness manifests the power of non- duality within the world of duality. Our awareness manifests the power of Imaginal Knowing. This power is the power of experiencing the forms of energy and the forms of the elemental energies. These forms often appear or manifest as Images. Our awareness manifests the power of multidimensional energy, our multidimensional life Force. Our awareness is non conceptual and is pre-reflective knowing.
Transmission of Awareness and The Transmission of Mind
The power of awareness is a dramatically more powerful transmission of the field of Being-fullness then the transmission of mind alone. The transmission of Mind tends to be a transmission of mental intention and intentionality. The transmission of mind tends to be psychological and not the transmission of Being-fullness. The transmission of Being-fullness is a transmission of Light, a transmission of vast spaciousness, a transmission of Energy and a transmission of Gnosis, of Jnana, and of Yeshe. The Transmission of Gnosis, of Jnana and of Yeshe is a transmission of direct non conceptual knowingness, a transmission of the experience of Being-full non duality, a transmission of luminous wisdom seeing and experiencing and knowing the multidimensionality of Being-fullness.
The Creative Power of Desire
The transmission of awareness arises out of the heart essence of the person, and thus the transmission of awareness manifests out of the DESIRE of the person to manifest this compassionate transmission of luminous Being-fullness to others. The desire of transmission arises out of our Being-fullness and not out of our intentional mind. Intentional mind is a mentalistic transmission. The mind transmission is transmission of idea, transmission of an affect, or sensation, or memory. Transmission of mind can also be a form of projection of idea, or affect, or sensation or fantasy on to someone or something. Intention is not desire. Desire is the Source of Being-full Manifestation. Desire is the self-manifestation of our Being-fullness.
The Four Times
The great Dzogchen Lama Yang Thang Rinpoche describes the power of the Absolute Compassion as the power of the transmission of the light and as the sublime energy of our awareness which is manifestation of Primordial Awareness itself.
Yang Thang Rinpoche also describes the four times. The time of the past, and the time of the present and the time of the future. The fourth time is the Time of Timeless Awareness. Yang Thang Rinpoche describes the wonderful transmission of awareness from the place of Timeless Awareness into the present moment of a person, into the past moment of a person and into the future moment of a person. Yang Thang Rinpoche described how everyone has this capacity, this Potential Spaciousness of self-manifestation of Being-fullness.
In existential phenomenological ontology, Martin Heidegger also describes the four times in a similar way as does Dzogchen.
Timeless Awareness as Yeshe (Wisdom)
We can all experience the archetypal place or archetypal space of Timeless Awareness within us. And we can simultaneously experience Timeless Awareness within Time. We can all experience the presence of the NOW in Timeless Awareness. To experience the Now in Timeless Awareness is self -liberation. To experience time in Timeless Awareness is self- liberation. This experience of Timeless Awareness in time and time in Timeless Awareness is the medium of self-liberation.
To experience the NOW in and within Timeless Awareness is our Realization of Luminous Being-fullness of Being and the unfolding events of Being. We can experience our own who-ness as awareness. And we can experience our own awareness, our own who-ness as Timeless Awareness in Time. We are Timeless Awareness within Time. This is the natural experience of self-liberation.
We can all transmit the luminosity of Being-full awareness from this place of Timeless awareness within us into the present moment of a person. And from this Archetypal place of Timeless Awareness within us we can transmit the light of Awareness into the past of a person. And from the place of Timeless Awareness within us, we can transmit the light of Awareness into the future time of a person. This great gift is often not expressed by us or practiced because of Ma Rigpa. Our experiential ignorance of who we are and what we can manifest.
The Beatific Power of Transmission is Within Everyone
This Beatific power of Transmission is within everyone. This luminous archetypal power is a primordial givenness within us. There is the natural givenness of Primordial Awareness. This is the primordial givenness of Timeless awareness manifesting into time. This is the givenness of Pure Being-fullness within us as a human being. This is the self-manifestation of our own Being-fullness in time and in the world.
We have the innate power to transmit and self-manifest the field of Being-fullness, the field of Presence into another person. We can transmit and self-manifest the experience of Being-fullness into another person or persons. This is an amazing and most personal gift to give. The gift of awareness can awaken awareness in another. The gift of awareness is the gift of Being-fullness. We all have this capacity of transmitting and self-manifesting the field of awareness, the field of Being-fullness into a person, or persons. Beyond words and language there is a transmission, it does not belong to any tradition, it is the nature of human awareness. We all have the capacity to transmit our experience of our light and our energy and our spacious Openness to a person or a collective situation.
Mind Alone, and Being Located in Mind Alone
If we are located within our mind alone, we will not be able to transmit our experience of primordial luminous awareness into another person, or persons. Being located in mind alone, is profoundly limiting in our experience of Being-fullness, and Being-full Energy, and Being-full Luminosity. When we are in mind alone, we will depend on our experience of Belief rather than our direct experience of Being-fullness.
Ground Of Being as Foundational Source
Timeless awareness is the experience of and as the Ground of Being. So, from within and through our Timeless Awareness, we can extend or manifest the power of Luminous Being-fullness into the present moment of the person, we can extend the experience of Being-fullness into the past moment of a person and we can extend the experience of Being-fullness into the future events of the life of a person. This is our great human capacity of Transmission of our Being-fullness as Awareness.
Begging As Method
Rather than utilizing this innermost gift, we prefer to beg for help from a transcendental archetypal deity that is outside of us and beyond us. We think begging is an empowerment. We think begging is the same as experiencing the power of Being-fullness within our own Embodiment. We like begging the Absolute Other, the Absolute Knower. In this form of begging, we can easily enter the Master Slave Relationship even with God and The Gods.
The Experience of Timeless Awareness within Time
The essence of Dzogchen is Timeless Awareness in Time. The essence of Dzogchen to become aware of our own personal awareness as Timeless Awareness in time. To experience the Nowness of time in Timeless Awareness is the experience of Self-liberation. Our mind knows phenomena manifesting in time, and our Timeless awareness knows Being-fullness manifesting as time. Our Timeless awareness can experience the Being-fullness of phenomena and the phenomena of Being-fullness.
The Different Dimensions or the Different Aspects of Timeless Awareness.
Longchenpa describes the different dimensions or aspects of Timeless Awareness. Timeless Awareness is the Basic Spaciousness of Phenomena. Phenomena manifests and abides within this foundational Spaciousness. Timeless Awareness is non conceptual and pre-reflective knowing. Timeless awareness is non ideational or non-mental. There is freedom from conceptualization or conceptual knowing of mind.
Timeless Awareness is non conceptual, pre-reflective knowing. The knowingness of Timeless Awareness is Direct and Experiential and Innate Knowing. Timeless Awareness is Gnosis, Jnana and Yeshe. Timeless Awareness is Ontological Knowing. Timeless Awareness is Unbound Consciousness. Timeless awareness senses the basic Spaciousness within everything and everyone. Timeless awareness is the knowingness of the Ground of Being. To experience Timeless awareness is to experience the Ground of Being as Timeless Knowingness.
Timeless awareness is Being’s knowing of Being. Timeless awareness is not the mind’s knowing of Being. Timeless awareness is our Being knowing as the Ground of Being. Awareness is Being knowing Being. Our Being knows experientially Being.
Timeless Awareness is Mirror like Translucid Resonance
This means Timeless Awareness is the profound unfolding of the experience of the Trans-lucidity of Phenomena. There is the Trans- lucidity of all phenomena. Within the vastness of Timeless Awareness there is a felt sense of the light of and within all phenomena and the light as all phenomena. The light of Timeless Awareness is within all and permeates all phenomena as the Trans-lucidity of all phenomena.
All Phenomena is Trans-Lucid. All lived experience is ultimately Trans-lucid. The light shines through all phenomena. The radiance of light is felt through all phenomena and within all phenomena. Through phenomena we experience the luminous Being-fullness of the phenomena. The radiance of light is felt, the radiance of the light is sensed and we can experience the radiant luminosity of phenomena. Within all phenomena is radiance luminosity. This radiance luminosity can be felt, can be seen and can be experience as resonance.
Equality and Sameness
Timeless Awareness is Equalness just as the medieval Theologian Dun Scotus described the equalness and the sameness of Being as Una Voce. This means that Timeless Awareness is Equalness or Sameness of all beings no matter the nature of their Character of phenomenological form. To experience Timeless Awareness is to experience the Equality of all Being-full Phenomena. Our experience of Timeless Awareness is the Source of liberation as Equality Consciousness and Equal Vision. This oneness of the Beingness of Being permeates all beings as Pure Being.
Our living experience of Timeless Awareness is the self-manifestation of the Creative Radiance of Being-full Light and Luminosity. This Creative Radiance is the source of self-manifestation of one’s inner heart essence of spacious, luminous Openness. This Openness resonates to the hearts of all humans and all animals and all living beings. To experience the radiance of phenomena and the resonance of phenomena is to experience the Field of Being-full Awareness. This profound sense of RESONANCE within and as the field of Being is the luminous key to understanding self-liberation in and as the field of Being-fullness, just as we are.
Timeless awareness is the self-manifestation of the elemental radiance of light that become everything and anything. Timeless awareness radiates luminosity and is luminosity. The light illuminates experience. The light illuminates the phenomena of experience and the Being-fullness of phenomena.
The experience of Timeless Awareness in Time and Time within Timeless Awareness is the source of immediate and spontaneous self- liberation and Existential fulfillment, existential completeness. To intimately sense this profound resonance is to experience the presence and resonance of the field Being embodied within beings.
Timeless awareness is innately our profound spontaneous self-liberation and fulfillment of Being-fullness. In Timeless awareness there is liberation within Luminous Being-fullness as our person lives within resonance, and Being-full oneness within formlessness and forms.
The Truth of The Vastness of The Guru Is within all Persons
When this beatific power of transmission is spoken as being contained only within the singular person of the Concrete Patriarchal Guru as single Person who knows Absolutely, then this implies that the Patriarchal Person as Guru is the singular person who has this Beatific Power of Transmission. This understanding is not the truth of the Power of Transmission, and this understanding does not reflect the truth of the power of the revealing presence of the Guru being within all human beings just ‘as they are.’
This is the existential truth of all of us having and being the experience of Timeless Awareness as the Ground of Being. Simultaneously experientially knowing all phenomena as the essence of light. This is the source of self-liberation. Experiencing the NOW in Timelessness is the experience of Deathless Awareness. To experience Timeless Awareness in Time and Time within Timeless Awareness is to experience the Profound sense of being Unborn and Undying.
Power of Transmission
This is the power of transmission expressed in Dzogchen and this is the power of transmission expressed within Kashmir Shaivism. This power of transmission is also understood in contemporary forms of Existential Phenomenology. This is the power of self-manifestation of Being-fullness into the world. Human Beings are the self-Manifestation of Being-fullness into the world. Human Beings are the self-manifestation of Being.
This is the power of the self-empowerment of Being born as a human being. The Guru of and as our own Being empowers us. The Guru of our own Being is Being itself. Being itself is the Guru. Our own Being is the Guru. This was and is the teaching of Swami Muktananda, the contemporary master of Kashmir Shaivism. This is the teaching of Dzogchen as expressed so directly and explicitly in foundational Dzogchen text The Supreme Source.
Gnosis, Jnana, Yeshe
The Luminous Being-full Power of the Guru is within us and reflects our direct knowing and our direct experiencing of the Purity of Being within ourself and within each other. This Gnosis, this Jnana, this Yeshe is the direct perception of the luminous Being of beings and the luminous Being-fullness of Being. The Guru is the “power” of this powerful and wonderful translucid experience of direct perception, direct non conceptual knowingness. This Trans-lucidity of experiencing the light of luminosity within all phenomena is the path of self-liberation. This is self-liberation through our ordinary life circumstance and ordinary events of living within the field of human awareness.
Endless Spiritual Ritualization is beautiful and divine Fun but not the source or path of self-liberation as most monastic and most religious traditions suggest and imply and require. The power of transcendental monastic religious understanding both of the east and the west, is being dissolved and replaced by the embodied traditions of Immanence.
The Truth is Alethea, The Truth is The Manifestation of Being-fullness
The Guru or the Logos is our direct perception and direct experience of our Purity of Being and our direct experience of the Self Revelation of our Being within the Sea of Being. The Guru within us is the Power of Self Revelation. The Guru within us is The Truth of Alethea. The Guru within us is the truth of natural transmission and natural self-liberation.
The Guru is our lived experience of our luminosity of Our Pure Being-fullness. Gu means darkness and Ru means light. Gu is hiddenness and Ru is illumination. Gu Ru means the transition from darkness into Light. The Guru is the power of the self-manifestation of Pure Being. To experience the Purity of Being and Being-fullness of Pure Being as our own being as Pure Being is self-liberation.
Our Natural Embodiment of the Guru
Our natural experiential embodiment of the Guru is our capacity to able to live within the Embodied Sea of Pure Being and experiencing the Pure Being of embodied Beings is self-liberation. To experience the Being of the world, and to experience the Being of our being and to experience the Being of beings and the Being of the world is to experience the Bliss of Samadhi. The Bliss of Samadhi is the Bliss of the world.
The Ontological Difference: The Psychological Path of Detachment and The Ontological Path of Absorption
Self-Liberation is not the path of becoming detached from Being and detached from the Being of Phenomena, and the phenomenon of Being. Rather liberation is the embodiment of Being and our embodiment of the Light of Being within our self and within the world of phenomena. Self- Liberation is not detachment from phenomena but absorption of Phenomenological Being and Luminous Being-fullness. Self-Liberation is the path of the embodiment of luminous Being-fullness and living within the field of Luminous Being-fullness whatever the circumstances.
Being-full Bliss
The very essence of Being is Bliss. The Bliss of Being overcomes suffering. The Bliss of Being actually liberates us from suffering.
There is the knowing of our mind that knows phenomena. And there is the direct knowing of our awareness that directly knows and directly experiences Being, the Being-fullness of Being and the field of Being-fullness as phenomena. When mind and awareness are in union, then we can experience the nature of a phenomena and the Being and Being-fullness of the phenomena. We can experience all phenomena as the Ground of Being. In Dzogchen there is no difference between phenomena and Source. There is no difference between phenomena and the Ground of Being. To experience the light of phenomena is to experience Source.
Our awareness is our knowingness of our Being and our Being-fullness. Our awareness is the knowingness of our Being knowing Being. Our awareness knows Being and experiences Pure Being as formless Being-fullness. Our awareness is our formless knowingness knowing Being-fullness. Pure Being is formless and Pure Being self-manifest Being within the forms of beings.
Transmission and Magnetization
As Human Beings we can transmit Being and the qualities of Being into other beings. And we can magnetize Being into our own Being from other beings. Everything we experience we experience through and within Being. We can sense Being within a being, feel Being within being, love and hate within Being, think within Being. We die within Being without losing Being.
The very essence of Being-fullness is Bliss-full. The Bliss of Being overcomes suffering. The Bliss of Being liberates us from suffering. This experiencing of Being within beings is Equality Consciousness and Equal Vision. This transmission of the Light of Being is self-manifestation of the Primordial Guru within us and through us as us. The Guru is the ontological drama of self-revelation and self-manifestation. The Guru is the Logos.
The Guru within each other can resonant to the field of Being within each other. The relational existence of living in Being brings forth Egalitarian Life. Egalitarian life is living within the field of Being in an ongoing continuous manner. The experience of the Guru is the experience of profound resonance to the field of Being within our self and within the world. Ordinary Life is experienced as the Continuous Presence of Luminous Being-fullness in the dimension of ordinary life.
The Patriarchal Person as Guru often presents themselves as the ONE who knows Absolutely the Presence of Being. Rather the truth is the Guru is the natural gnosis of the Being of beings within everyone. This gnosis of Being becomes organizationally limited to the One who knows absolutely. In actuality this Is not the truth of Guru.
This is a distortion of the truth of the universality of the presence of the Guru. This negates the ordinariness of the Guru and the humanness of the Guru. The Bliss of the Ordinary is the Bliss of Being. The Bliss of the Ordinary is Equality Consciousness and Equal Vision. The Bliss of the Ordinary is Egalitarian life. Self-liberation is living within the Bliss of the Ordinary just as we are, life after life and death after death.
